This Is My Life, as Seen by Me
This rural, Southern life style has been a lot of things, but boring is not one of them.
Historically, I’ve performed many roles but it seems to me that those are 'things I did' -- not 'who I am'. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, student, teacher, consumer, provider, and caretaker. Past employment includes sales clerk, cashier, trace clerk for trucking company, teacher, counselor, rural letter carrier, and a few things I can't remember just now. I can cook but don't like it -- a big mess for what? I believe ironing is a sin (just joking), but I avoid it like the plague. I know there's more to life than a straight silverware drawer, so not a lot of house keeping goes on here.
My life seems to be a work in progress. Each day has been just a preparation for being where I am today. There is a path being followed with directions coming from a Trusted Source that lets me know:
- (1.) I'm not quite there yet and
- (2.) Keep on keeping on.
There's a problem in defining 'me' because I'm only of value for the tiny space I fill in the world around me. The family, the community, the acquaintances from the Internet, my spot in the world -- these are the things that give me definition. In the end, it's the people who share these spaces that define who I am.
My personal claim to fame is, and has always been, my children -- and now, their children. This little photo story indicates a life cycle we've experienced over and over again.

1. We encounter a problem

2. Someone helps us

3. Our world is bright again

4. Then, we can help someone else
My Internet adventure was begun for three reasons -- for fun, and, eventually, I hope for profit, and to offer encouragement to other people. Having money is really no big deal because it will only be given away, but doing that is going to be so much fun!
We know that the problems and struggles of simply existing in our society can cripple human spirit and hinder efforts toward having a meaningful life. Presently, I have little help to offer anyone except with my words. Words can be of great help at times. Words mean things. Words cause things to happen. Words hurt or heal. Words encourage or hinder. Words create wars or bring peace. Words are powerful.
A word creates an idea.
An idea creates thought.
Thought creates a plan.
A plan creates action.
Action creates success.
Success creates sharing.
Sharing creates a better world.
Maybe the words used in my work here will help to make life be more user friendly and contribute to the happiness, health, and wealth of someone else. Meanwhile, I'm having a party, loving my life, and having more good times than bad. (And, going to make some money!)
